THE CRADLE envisions a future where all infants, children, and families can access coordinated services that contribute to their social, educational, cultural and economic development, within the Bedford-Stuyvesant community. We are working to create a healthy Bedford-Stuyvesant in which people and systems with different strengths and perspectives work together for a better future.

THE CRADLE is to design and build a family focused and integrated system of care that will strengthen our community’s ability to “cradle” families using strengths, resources and unique cultural assets to promote safety, permanency and overall wellness of infants and their families.

You can make a difference in your community by joining the Bed-Stuy Activists and lending your voice to CRADLE System of Care activities. The CRADLE is also partnering with the Child Welfare Organizing Project (http://www.cwop.org) to prepare parents in the Bedford-Stuyvesant community who have had contact with the child welfare system on how to navigate the system and advocate for policy change. Please contact the Family Engagement Specialist for more information at 718-218-6359.
